Future
Christ’s Church for Brooklyn has endured much throughout its short life. At the moment CCfB got started, Laura and Joe Hays had their second child who was born with many physical difficulties. Laura and Joe’s efforts and energy were poured into keeping the family together which meant the church plant was a secondary matter. In spite of this, God kept the community of faith together and allowed it to grow from the difficult situation. What has come of that is a community that is open and honest with each other about life and faith.
We hope to continue to be real and honest with one another. The hope is that this community can delve into the deeper realities of life in order that we help one another through the good and the bad. And in so doing, we reach out to those who are in need and hope to give voice to the voiceless. |
