A quick note before we begin.  As of June of 2010, Christ’s Church for Brooklyn will no longer be meeting on Sunday mornings.  We are shifting to a new model, seemingly more well-suited to our members, that allows for meetings at various days and times, at different places in the community, doing a variety of activities–from social events, to Bible studies, to service projects.  Our up-to-date schedule will be on the blog, as well as the worship calendar.  Please feel free to join us for any and all events.  Now, on to the important stuff.

Welcome to all who have no church home, need strength, want to follow Christ, have doubts, or do not believe. Welcome to new visitors and to old friends. Welcome to grandparents, to mothers, fathers, to couples and to single people. Welcome to people of all colors, cultures, economies, abilities, and sexual orientations, to old and young, to believers and questioners – and welcome to questioning believers.

Welcome to everyone!  Today we are all invited to live in God’s love, peace and justice.*

Christ’s Church for Brooklyn seeks to be a living presence of Christ in Brooklyn;

By being Christ’s body, a community of people who genuinely love each other and who welcome all those seeking the hope and peace of God in their lives.

By being Christ’s hands and feet through service to our neighbors, in Brooklyn and beyond, sharing ourselves and what we have, just as Christ himself has done.
